The Word “Branhamites” Is a word coined signifying the Cult Followers of “William Branham.” One time I was caught up in this cult and because of love for the souls caught in this cult I am dedicating this Web site to exposing William Branham and his doctrines.

I got caught up in this cult when I started my walk with Christ. I had a Brother in the cult and he arranged for me to get Branham’s Tape Messages in “Printed Form” which I still have. His messages were interesting and he gave a Historicism view of Scriptures which was common in his time. Historicism mainly is applying Scriptures to the Church and its growth whether the Scriptures was in the OT or the NT and regardless it was talking about Israel or not.

Through his messages I learned his beliefs and the Light and Angel with him throughout his life. Through His messages and my Brother I learned he was the seventh angel to the Laodicea Church and the seventh angel in Revelation 10:7. From his messages and my brother I was taught since he was an anointed man of God his messages were the truth and his followers held his messages as infallible word of God equal with the Scriptures. If I wanted to understand the Bible I was to look at what Branham said and disregard any commentaries or my own understanding. Branham’s Messages was the final interpretation of the Scriptures in so much we all (including me) were comparing Scriptures with Branham instead of comparing Branham with Scriptures.

In the mean time I was also studying other Preachers from his time and notice many things Branham taught was already being taught by Ministers before him. Other words much of what Branham taught was plagiarized from other Ministers of his age such as Herbert Armstrong and Charles Taze Russell. I started noticing he was saying things that weren’t true but it was to lift himself up to the people as something he wasn’t. I notice Branham lied about things which didn’t happen and many of his teachings were occult connected.

He taught the Roman Catholic Church was the Beast as others did in his age and many still do today and I also thought so because of what I had been taught before. As God opened my eyes I knew that was wrong. He also taught if you belong to a denomination than you had the Mark of the Beast. He used scare tactics as many false teachers did in his time and do today. Reading his messages I noticed claims he made about his Visions or about himself were never consistence. I notice in his visions he will tell one thing and than later a news article will come out about something and he will add that to his vision. In all Honestly I was surprise at what I was seeing and kept looking for an answer to solve my doubts.

As I stated Branham used Historicism interpretation of Scriptures which is actually spiritualizing Scriptures to make them fit your doctrines regardless if it concerned Israel instead of the Church. In 2005 I got in a discussion with a person in Branham’s cult on Prophecies and this person was taking Prophecies that had happened and applying them to the Church’s future. It was always Branham said this or that. As we were having the discussion it came to me Israel will give up the Gaza Strip before the end of the Year. Of course I was called a False Prophet and he told me Israel will never give up the Gaza Strip and than he started telling me what will happen before the year 2005 ended. Needless to say a few months later Israel gave up the Strip and I was going to get on the phone and told him I told you so but God stopped me. He said that was not like a Christian and so I didn’t. None of his prophecies came to pass but I still didn’t say anything. God had vindicated me to him and finally one day talking to him He said he don’t know how I knew Israel will give up the Gaza Strip but I was right. I said God told me but he would not accept that because by this time my eyes were open to Branham’s doctrines and his ways.

God told me to stop following Branham or any man and to stay with his word Literally and he will lead me to its understanding. God let me know truth will always prevail because its foundation is based on facts you can’t disprove and that is what I base my teachings on.
